While her career initially led her into the world of business, Idalet's passion for art and interior design soon took center stage. Her talent and dedication saw her commissioned by prestigious organizations like Spoornet and the Cape Town City Council, establishing her as a leading figure in South Africa's art scene. 

Idalet’s process was as extraordinary as her work. Eschewing preparatory sketches and reference materials, she painted directly onto blank canvases, creating vivid and intricate masterpieces with acrylics.
