Fine Artworks: Contemporary Iconic Fine Art
Share
The South African artist, Idalet, joined the University of Pretoria’s choir, as one of their student soprano soloists, on a European Tour in 1982. Her appreciation of Europe’s renaissance art made a lasting impression on her artwork.
Approximately 15 years later, her supportive neighbour offered Idalet the most beautifully arched wooden frames and she started to paint a stunning selection of fine art, offering a modern take on the much-loved Madonna Icons.
Between 2003 and 2006, Idalet, had exhibitions in Köln, Frankfurt, Berlin, München, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Paris.
